Make DIY Mummy Dogs The Next Time You Pull Dinner Duty

I made these MILF's (Mummies I'd Like to Feast upon) for J and D's Halloween dinner.  Everyone was pretty pleased and so I've definitely added them to the small but popular sillyDaddy dinner repertoire!

Here's what you'll need to make your very own mummy dogs:
  • Pillsbury Crescent Dough
  • Pack of hotdogs
  • Mustard
  • Cheese
  • Rolling pin and flour (for the rolling pin and your rolling surface)

Pop out the Crescent roll dough.  Your goal is to roll it out into a thin flat square so lay all the pieces together as best you can and pinch them together.  Rub some flour on your rolling pin and roll away!

Once you've got something that resembles a square, take a knife and cut out 1 inch wide strips.

Take your first dog, remove all of its internal organs and place them into jars....ha ha...ha...h...  Take your first dog and begin to wrap it in the strip of dough.  Start with the "cheesy" end of the strip.  Wrap it tightly at the "bottom" and leave room for a mummy face at the top.

Wrap the rest of your dogs the same way.  I found that one package of dough covered about 7 dogs.

Use the baking time recommended on the dough package.

Pour a little mustard in a small bowl and get a utensil with a point.  I used the end of a chop stick.  Dip the point in the mustard and then dot your eyes.

Next, allow to sit for thousands of years and serve.  MMMMMMMMM that's good mummy!
